Avoiding Dormancy

If my blog were a house, it would have been infested with termites, ants, and other insects by now. Also, spiders would already have enjoyed weaving their webs around my every nook of my site's source code and widgets and such attack could have brought this blog to demise. But thank heavens! The owner has come back from the dead so "Hello, World!" as WordPress would say it.

When I joined the workforce of a French non-profit organization in November 2011, I didn't have time to spare writing for my personal consumption. I was too busy travelling around the Visayas area, carrying a 30-kilo luggage (not including my own bag), trying to find graduating high school students and out-of-school youth who might be interested in applying for a three-year college IT scholarship grant. All of my energy was poured to that mission.

One of the places I visited to find poor but deserving students around the Visayas.

But at some point, I grew restless and my health suffered. I had to leave the organization because of that and some other reasons. So now, I am back with a lot of free time which, I hope, I can use productively by honing my writing skills and by learning new things.

I have observed how my brain activity has deteriorated over the years and I don't like it at all. I  am actually alarmed because I feel like I  am becoming dumber as the days go by. So maybe, by writing again, I will be able to activate my neurons and mental faculties. Hurray, that would be awesome!

Moi, when my brain was still able to process tons of stuff. LOL

So, I guess, I'll see everyone real soon then.

As for now, ciao and good night, sleepyheads.
