This Thing Called THE INTERNET is to Blame!

BEFORE YOU START READING, I MUST WARN YOU that this is a nonsense entry. Bow!

Aside from taking care of the content of my boss' business websites, I am running three personal blogs and one online magazine. On top of that, I maintain accounts on Facebook, Google+, Tumblr, Last.fm, Twitter, and other social networking sites that are popular these days.

It's actually very exhausting to manage a lot of accounts in different sites. Oftentimes, I have forgotten my passwords and my usernames because of the number of memberships I have! To deal with such stress, I have thought of deleting some of my accounts for good. But I just couldn't.

For instance, I once thought of deleting my Tumblr account because I felt that it gets in conflict with my Blogger. Anyway, they were made for the same purpose--that is blogging. But I could not afford erasing myself from the Tumblr community because this platform is so easy to use. Whenever I felt like scribbling random phrases, I thought of Tumblr right away. If my mood told me to upload a particular song, I would immediately click the "Audio" button in Tumblr. But whenever I wanted to write "formally" (by formal I mean syntax, grammar, complete sentences), I always relied on my Google blog.

Before opening a public blog in Blogger, I also ran a personal blog through WordPress. WP has always been my top choice when it comes to CMS. Nevertheless, it would not allow me to insert an AdSense widget unless I buy a domain. Since I wasn't ready to go to that level yet (think of all the hosting and domain name expenses I would incur), I decided to transfer my entries to a new Blogger website. But still, I haven't deleted my WordPress website until now.

Dammit! I'm everywhere on the Internet. I should do something about my dormant blogs and social networking accounts. Clearly, with what I'm doing, I am putting my privacy at risk. Well, it's really not that I'm not being careful with how much information I'm sharing with everyone. Sometimes, I just don't notice that I'm talking too much.

PS. I'm supposed to write about Palawan but I will have to let it pass for a few days yet. Suddenly, this social networking thing crossed my mind hence THIS.

PPS. My blog has a new layout. It's much cleaner now. Yay!
