Imperial Palace is a five-star waterpark and spa hotel in Cebu. Being the first of its kind in the region, it boasts of its three adrenaline-rushing slides and its first-rate facilities. Aside from that, it also features a stunning island pool where you can play ball sports and where you can sip a cocktail drink or two.
Anyway, my family and I went there last April 17, 2011 and took advantage of their Day Adventure Package. For only P2,200.00 (I must tell you the expense is worth it), you can already have a day filled with fun in the water. Enjoy swimming through the artificial tide pool and the flowing water pool. Have a splash at the Adventure Pool or test your courage at the tube slides and the space bowl. The rate is also inclusive of an international buffet lunch that will surely overwhelm you. You can choose from the following: Japanese, Mediterranean, Chinese, Korean, and other sumptuous cuisine! A massive island filled with desserts is also waiting for you in the middle of the Familia Restaurant.
Check out the following and see how much I enjoyed my Imperial Palace Day.
The crew or the Amigos (as they call themselves) have prepared games for the guests. The first part what guessing the name of the celebrity on the photo. Lucky, I knew Jacky Chan! hahahaha. I won a Welcome Drink for that.
Labelled. The green tag says: Imperial Palace: Day Adventure.
I and my sister are getting ready for the water adventure! Look at us; we don't seem excited. That's just poker face. :p
Behind me are Koreans who are, by the way, dominating the resort in massive numbers! @_@
On the background is the pirate flag of the pirate ship located on the kids' amusement area.
Why the face?
I climbed a hell lot of flights of stairs and got scared of the slide. I went down to look for moral support.
I begged my sisters to come with me but they wouldn't. So the life guard came with me instead. LOL.
FYI: My mother successfully glided down the spiraling slide before all of my drama started.
After around 15 minutes of negotiation and persuasion from the life guard, I finally gave in.
It was a great ride, after all!
The buffet lunch that really satisfied my curious tongue.
Happy Summer, y'all!
